CRIME ALERT - Attempted Robbery

It was reported to Vanderbilt Police Department that an attempted robbery occurred on September 27 at approximately 11:38 pm in Lot 22, located behind Phi Kappa Psi at 24th Avenue South and Kensington Place. The victim, a student, was standing beside her vehicle in Lot 22 when she was pushed to the ground from behind. The suspect attempted to gain entry to the victim's vehicle. The victim screamed and the subject fled the area towards West End Avenue.

Case Status: The Vanderbilt Police Department is investigating this incident.

Suspect Description: Male black, 6'0", black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a green long sleeve t-shirt and blue jeans.
