It was reported to Vanderbilt Police that a strong arm robbery occurred at Garland and 25^th Avenue South on 10-06-07 at 02:30 a.m. The victim, a student, reported being approached by an unknown subject who grabbed for a canvas bag being held by the victim. A struggle ensued and the unknown suspect took the bag. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area in a maroon four door SUV with tinted windows (possibly a Ford Explorer or Toyota 4Runner) toward West End Avenue.

Suspect Description: Male black, Mid 20’s, 5’9”-6’0”, shaved black hair, last seen wearing a white shirt and khaki pants.
