CRIME ALERT-Forcible Fondling
It was reported to Vanderbilt Police Department that a forcible fondling occurred at approximately 9:48 pm on March 28th near Stevenson Center. The victim, a student, reported that as she was walking between Featheringill and Stevenson Center a subject approached her from behind and placed his arm around her. The suspect stated that he knew her. When the victim stated that she did not know him and told him to leave her alone, a second suspect approached from behind and pushed the victim to the ground. One of the suspects grabbed her purse while the other forcibly fondled her. The suspects fled the area towards the Alumni Lawn. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Suspect Description: Suspect #1 Male black, 5'10" - 5'11". The suspect was last seen wearing a black quilted jacket with a fur lined hood and dark pants. Suspect # 2 Male black, 5'7" - 5'9", the suspect had short
hair and braces on his teeth. The suspect was last seen wearing a grey
zippered sweat shirt. |

Don't prop open doors, thwart security measures, or let strangers in. * Avoid going to ATM's alone, after dark, or if suspicious persons are nearby. * Think ahead about what you would do under dire circumstances. Try to get a description. |
