Emergency Preparedness
The primary goal of this site is to provide information in conjunction with the Campus Emergency Preparedness Program that ensures the safety and well-being of staff, faculty, students and visitors in the event that an emergency occurs. A secondary purpose is to maintain essential business services and operation in the time of an emergency. Staff should be reminded that it is also a function of this plan to protect and secure University facilities, property, and equipment from loss.

AlertVU is Vanderbilt University's emergency notification system. It is available to Vanderbilt University students, faculty and staff on a voluntary, opt-in basis. Users may enter as many devices as they wish and specify the device order in which they would like to be notified. More >
