			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On Tuesday 12/04/11 at 1:30 P.M. a student reported that someone had taken his laptop from his dormitory room on 12/01/2012 between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.  When the student returned to his room the laptop power cord was still present but the laptop was gone. The student’s dormitory room door was believed to be unlocked at the time of the theft.</p>

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 6’00, 170 lbs with a short beard.<br />

<p>A white male who was being sought by VUPD for exposing himself has been located, arrested and taken into custody. The suspect was located by VUPD, interviewed and confessed to the crime during the interview.</p>
<p>At approximately 8:15 a.m, Nov. 5, 2012, VUPD was informed by two Vanderbilt University staff members that they observed a white male sitting in a vehicle at the metered parking area at Vanderbilt Place and 24th Ave. S. The male was reported to be masturbating. When he realized he was being watched the person left the parking area and drove south on 24th Ave. S. A vehicle matching the description was seen at the intersection of 24th Ave. S. and Highland Ave. and was last seen turning south onto 25th Ave. S.</p>

White male, dark brown hair, wearing glasses, driving a red, four-door, Volkswagen sedan. TN license plate G9390E. Last seen driving south on 25th Ave. S.</p>

The student reported that the suspect is an acquaintance she had met at a party in a fraternity house on Sept. 1, 2012. Sexual assault is non-consensual sexual activity, ranging from unwanted sexual touching to forced intercourse</p>

The student did not wish to provide a description of the male student. VUPD is continuing to investigate the incident.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At 9:00 PM July 30, 2012, A female student was walking from Central library on 21st Ave South to her dormitory on Peabody Campus, Vanderbilt University. When she entered parking lot 96 on Edgehill Ave accross from University School of Nashville a black male approached her from behind throwing her to the ground while attempting to take her purse. The student began screaming and fighting back. A witness heard the noise and came to investigate, the black male ran from the area and was last seen fleeing North on 21st Ave South.</p>

The suspect is a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5 foot 10 inches in height, 150 lbs, dark completected, short hair, wearing a purple shirt and bluejean shorts. </p>

<p>IDENTIFIED: The suspect sought in the below incident was identified by VUPD and criminally charged. </p>
<p>It was reported to VUPD at 11:43 July 22, 2012 that a suspicious person, an unknown white male subject, was observed loitering in the area of Branscomb Quadrangle, which is being used a high school soccer camp. The suspect was believed to have been wearing a camp t-shirt over his t-shirt and had changed into khaki shorts while in Branscomb.  When asked by a soccer camp staff member to identify himself, the subject threatened the staff member with a plastic knife and fled to his car parked behind the Baptist Student Union. When approached again by soccer camp staff members the suspect pulled an unknown item from his vehicle, possibly a weapon and pointed at the staff member then fled the area in the vehicle.</p>
<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
Subject is a white male approximately 28-35 years of age approximately 5&#8217;08&#8243;, bald,  medium build 185 lbs . He was wearing a black t-shirt, blue jeans, subject may have changed clothes to a white soccer camp t-shirt and khaki shorts.<br />
The suspect&#8217;s vehicle is believed to be a red Mitsubishi Eclipse with a black hood wired shut, witnesses reported the trunk was open with several items visible in the trunk.</p>

A subject has been apprehended in connection to the Forcible Fondling incident reported below.</p>
<p>It was reported that on 07/11/12 at or near 1:15pm, an unknown male subject approached a female staff member from behind and grabbed her and touched her inappropriately while she was sitting in the Vanderbilt Medical Center Cafeteria. The subject left the cafeteria and proceeded toward the second floor waiting area of the Vanderbilt University Hospital.</p>
<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
Suspect is a Black Male approximately 15-19 years of age, approximately 5&#8217;4&#8243;-5&#8217;6&#8243; with a slim build. He was wearing a bright green &#8220;oversized&#8221; T-shirt, denim shorts and white tennis shoes.</p>

June 27, 2012, a male neighborhood resident was walking West on Acklen Ave near 21st Ave South when he was approached by a black male  who pointed a knife at him and demanded his wallet and money. The male gave him cash from his wallet the suspect took the money and told the victim to walk the other way. After taking the money the suspect fled the area. The victim left the area and reported the robbery to Metro Nashville Police Department.</p>
<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
Suspect is a black male, approximately 5&#8242; 10&#8243; in his 40s, wearing a baseball cap, dark clothing and possibly sunglasses. His direction of escape is unknown.</p>

<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20&#8242;s with short blonde hair, &#8220;clean shaven,&#8221; driving a tan or gold 4-door small sedan. The suspect was last seen driving West on Blair Blvd.</p>

A subject has been ARRESTED and taken into custody in connection to the Sexual Assault  reported below. He’s also being investigated as a suspect in other assaults reported in the Vanderbilt area.</p>

<p>It was reported to the Vanderbilt University Police Department that an assault occurred (sexual assault) at approximately 7:30 pm on February 10th, 2012 in the Terrace Place Garage. The victim reported she was in the garage, when she was approached by a black male who demanded she engage in sexual activity against her will.</p>
<p><strong>Description:</strong><br />
The suspect is a Black Male, Dark Complexion, 6&#8242; to 6&#8217;02&#8243; inches tall 20 to 30 Y/O, Bald Head.  He was wearing a dark shirt, with a black hoodie over it, and blue jeans. The suspect fled the area before officers arrived..</p>
