SECURITY ALERT Burglary

It was reported to this department that a burglary occurred on December 14 between 6:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Morgan House. The victim, a student, reported that his wallet had been stolen, while he was sleeping, from his room located in a Morgan House Suite. The victim's suitemate reported seeing two unknown subjects in the suite at approximately 12:00 p.m. When the suitemate asked the two subjects why they were in the suite they responded that they were looking for a particular student, whose name the suitemate did not recognize. The two subjects then left the area.

In a number of residence hall burglaries the suspect(s) have asked for a name unfamiliar to the victim or witness. Should this occur, do not confront the individual and please contact VUPD as soon as possible.
