It was reported to Metro Nashville Police Department that an armed robbery occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on November 30. The victim, a student, reported that while in the vicinity of 25th Avenue South and Jess Neely, she was robbed by a suspect brandishing a knife. The suspect took the victims wallet. After leaving the area, the victim called Metro Nashville Police Department from her off campus residence. As it becomes available, further information relating to this incident will be made available via the Daily Crime Report.

Suspect Description: Male black, 5'6" - 5'8", last seen wearing a black jacket, white shirt, and dark pants.

• Scan the area before you exit or approach your vehicle/building and while you proceed between sites.

• If strangers approach, maintain a distance and be observant; if they are in a vehicle, get the license plate number.
• Lock doors and windows of your room/building. Don't prop open doors, thwart security measures, or let strangers in.
• Avoid going to ATM's alone, after dark, or if suspicious persons are nearby.
• Think ahead about what you would do under dire circumstances. Try to get a description.
