Department Services: Walking Escort
As a supplement to the Medical Center Shuttle Service and Vandy Vans, VPD provides walking escorts to students, faculty, and staff walking to and from any location on campus during the nighttime hours. The telephone number to call for a walking escort is (615) 421-8888 (off campus) or 1-8888 (on campus).
We encourage students to use the Vandy Van system as a way to increase their personal safety as they traverse the campus at night.
