On August 9, 2009, a theft occurred at the Stevenson Center Science and Engineering building. A Dell computer and monitor, and a Dell laptop were taken. At 11:34 am, security video footage showed the first suspect, a black male, enter the 5th floor from the fire escape. He exited through the fire escape at 11:39 am carrying a laptop case. Within the hour, the first suspect returned with the second suspect, a black male. They entered from the Physics building at 12:21 pm, and exited through the fire escape at 12:26pm. One suspect was carrying a Dell computer box, and the other was carrying a Dell 24-inch monitor.
