The Vanderbilt University Police Department Communications Center coordinates the delivery of emergency services to Vanderbilt University, Medical Center, and One Hundred Oaks. The Communications Center is staffed around the clock by trained Communications Officers. These professionals are responsible for receiving, and documenting calls from citizens, dispatching resources as necessary, monitoring alarms, performing records checks, relaying information, and coordinating mutual aid requests from other agencies.
